Big News 2x!

Family, our very own Anna DeShawn is honored to have received a scholarship to attend the 2024 SOS Conference! She has attended the last couple of years and it's helped to inform our award winning "Black HIV in the South: How Did We Get Here" Qube original podcast as well as build community and shape future projects.

SOS is a one of kind experience. This year’s theme, β€œVibrance: The Kaleidoscope Effect,” speaks to the different experiences, approaches, voices, and diverse beauty of our communities to create the freedom and liberation we seek. I hope you’ll join me at the conference in Atlanta!

AND

The Qube is a semifinalist in Pharrell's Black Ambition Prize Competition!

Out of over 3,000 applicants we are one of 250 semifinalists. We'll be vying for a spot among the 50 finalists and a shot at the $1 million grand prize. This is our fourth application, and it was well worth it because we finally made it!

Family, this is a HUGE deal. We're talking life-changing opportunities here! Thank you for all your support. Let's keep pushing forward and make some magic happen!

Listen to Second Sunday

This podcast explores the stories of Black queer people navigating complex relationships with The Black Church. The Church is a nostalgic pillar of the Black community but it’s also been the source of pain and ostracization for many.

It’s a second look at a topic that feels increasingly dismissed and minimized. It’s Second Sunday.
